Dr. Ganne was born in South India and moved to the United States in elementary school, growing up in Oxnard, California. She founded Sai Oral Surgery with a clear intention: to care for every patient with integrity, kindness, and the same attention she would give her own family. That philosophy runs through everything she does, and it is the reason so many patients who once dreaded oral surgery now describe feeling genuinely seen and at ease in her care.
Her training reflects a deep commitment to her craft. Dr. Ganne was accepted into the prestigious six-year BA/DDS program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, then continued for six additional years at the University of Connecticut, earning her MD at UConn Medical School before completing a General Surgery internship and her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the highest credential in her specialty, and cares for a full range of needs including wisdom tooth removal with IV sedation, tooth extractions, dental implants, and bone grafting. She is also an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the Volusia-Flagler Dental Association, where she has served as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President, and helped found the Volusia-Flagler Women's Dental Association.

Do I need an oral surgeon, or can my regular dentist remove my tooth?
General dentists handle many everyday procedures wonderfully, but oral surgeons complete several additional years of hospital-based training focused specifically on surgical care. For impacted wisdom teeth, dental implants, complex extractions, and similar procedures, that added expertise matters. If your dentist referred you to an oral surgeon, that referral is usually the right call.
Will I be asleep during my procedure?
It depends on the procedure and what feels right for you. What is recovery like after wisdom teeth removal or oral surgery?

Will I see the same surgeon throughout my treatment?
